Healthy Tasmania Fund Round 2

Congratulations to Healthy Tasmania Fund Round 2 successful grant recipients!

The Healthy Tasmania Fund Round 2 has awarded $2.5 million to 26 organisations across Tasmania to community organisations and local governments to invest in the health and wellbeing through locally driven initiatives.

The successful grant recipients were selected from 113 applications and will deliver evidence-based community initiatives to Tasmanians who need them most.

Projects will focus on building community connections and reducing smoking, improving healthy eating, being more physically active and improving mental health and wellbeing.

Healthy Tasmania is a Tasmanian Government and community partnership to achieve the Government’s goal of making Tasmania the healthiest population in Australia. The Healthy Tasmania Fund is a key strategy of the Healthy Tasmanian Five Year Strategic Plan and provides community-led grants to strengthen community connections and help Tasmanians live longer, healthier and happier lives.

The Government will release a new Healthy Tasmania Plan later this year to build on the achievements of the last five years.
